Please make un-earthing old posts easier. nostr:npub1l2vyh47mk2p0qlsku7hg0vn29faehy9hy34ygaclpn66ukqp3afqutajft made a cool tool - https://exit.pub - and I would like to know if it's actually cool already but knowing that he did import his tweets I'm having a hard time to find what Pablo shared in 2020. In fact, scrolling back in primal it took me many minutes to get to TextNotes that are still only "2 mo. ago".

Coracle has since/until filters on all feeds

Ok, cool. I applied a filter by pablo, before 2020-11-14 and it keeps spinning ever since. Is it downloading all the events until it eventually finds old ones?

I now played around a bit more and can't see the time constraints to get applied. I search for posts from 2020-01-01 to 2020-11-14 and find only posts from 2023.

It would also be nice if I could share my search query with the url.

Hmm maybe I broke it, I'll see. It does take some time to window back to the desired time if it's a ways back. If you have searchable relays (unfortunately not widely supported right now) it'll use those, other relays might send stuff back which will be ignored.

Good point on deep linking too

Fixed a few bugs, one of which was a hard limit of some time in 2021 (because there will never be events before then 😂). Give it a couple minutes and try again

🤣

The date input is also broken here. Clicking into the mm/dd/yyyy and typing 01012020 gives very weird results: mm/01/0020

It's the browser default date input, absolute crap

? seems ok to me

The first screenshot shows time restrictions to some years ago.

The second screenshot shows search results from this year exclusively.

To my understanding, Events with a created_at outside of the date range should not get rendered or if anything, only together with matching events (thread contains date range).

Oh, I see it now, the since/until filter didn't get applied, there's no chip for it. It's working ok for me, what browser are you on?

That's Firefox. Trying Chromium now ... and here it does work! The date picker is an embarrassment, too though.

Hitting send on this comment did not show any feedback. After reloading the page I saw it was submitted ... or ... was it? I see a nostr.wine indicator but only on hover while on your comment it shows without hovering? *confused*
