On mobile, it's a good backup but I almost exclusively use Amethyst. On the web, it's the only client I could find that had any sort of proxying/privacy protections built in, which I consider essential with the way Nostr relays work. Since I don't use a VPN that much these days (a few reasons), having those protections is pretty crucial.

Plus, it doesn't hurt that it has one of the better web UIs... As much as I respect web clients like Coracle and noStrudel, Primal is pretty much the only one that has a modern social media interface.

I’ve heard some bad things about it as it uses KYC for the wallet, but it’s the main one that I use. I don’t have enough knowledge on the subject yet to make a good call.

Ah, I haven't used the wallet feature in Primal so I can't say one way or the other. I don't send many zaps myself since zaps are my only way of obtaining Bitcoin at this point in time.

That’s fair, stack sats until you see a good return on them

So far, I have around $6's worth. Not too much but hey, I'll take what I can get haha

I use Primal now. Tried a few others but enjoy the UI on Primal to be honest.

is that the only reason you prefer it?

It feels more familiar if im honest and I enjoy the colour scheme (easily pleased). Also like the built in wallet.

I do like how similar Primal is to X, and the wallet is a big plus

Agreed
