A thought I've been mulling over in my mind lately.

Do people chat over LN though the notes function? What's the longest that has occurred? Is it still going?

Isn't that what sphinx.chat does?

I don't know, it sounds interesting though. Ib was thinking in regards to regular LN transactions.

I haven't used it, so I don't know. Their website is fairly sparse on details.

Sphinx as a chat app works by setting your rate for people to message you back and forth .

I have personally used LN notes to text people normally a few sats with a note . I hope it becomes more common .

OK cool. Its wasn't about charging people to chat, I just thought it was possible to carry on a conversation through lightning notes.

It’s nice for groups it reduces spamming lol . I guess most people don’t use the lightning ⚡️ notes

Yeah that is a good idea.

There was an app called 'Sphinx' that allowed you to talk over lightning channells, but I don't know how successful or reliable it is.

The thought was about regular lightning transactions, day to day zaps over Nostr, easy enough for messaging too. Anyway, I'm the only one it seems.
