Nah the Linux volumes on wsl2 are so slow, especially if you layer docker on top. Was almost unusable for me in many dev situations where you need fast writes
Unless I didn't know what I was doing which is also possible, but it sucked for me

So that's true, it is not performant. But for doing app testing it ain't bad. But yeah, you can totally stress it to failure without trying too hard
