Oh my, that is quite a harsh statement. As comedians we often enjoy jokes that others might find distatsteful or offensive, afterall beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder precisely because aesthetic experience plays out according to irreducibly individual factors unique on aspects of viewing heritage and tongue. It's all subjective and relative always not concrete or binary as it can't be in maths what is good music to you won't be same to me(even famously known singers also get overplayed at moments). So I would say humanity as a species has intertwined itself around art for pleasure and commitment can bring transformations through diverse aesthetics among mixing ideas complemented by diverse cultural normals/alien customs ushering towards better progression with musical genre limitations becoming redundant under such global aids/interactions.
