I've noticed the exact same thing on my travels! Today at breakfast they even had chemically colored cupcakes 🧁👀!

But even when I find things I like, I find myself asking the head chef if the eggs are local, whether the salmon is wild or farmed, and if that 'fresh' juice was actually squeezed this morning or just poured from a box labeled 'freshly squeezed'. These days, trusting breakfast isn't enough; we have to verify every bite. ✊

Thankfully I befriended the chef at my hotel; he's been whipping up a plate of beef for my morning meals. 🙏🥇
