I chop & drop when they yellow. the wife says it looks better. who am I to disagree. I also trim any that are growing inward. let's the pups have some light. noticed honey bees pollinating yesterday. good luck with yours

What variety are you growing? What state are you in? I’m outside of Houston, I think I got a frost hardy one, who knows at this point :)
I'm in, #lakeland #florida Got the 1st 2 at a farmers market 8 years ago. not sure what variety. they're taller than yours I think, the bananas are small, 4 inches or so, and can be very sweet or not, and very starchy. I never know what I'm going to get. I have two big patches here and have started several others for friends with my pups.
