If users are so obviously desperate for engagement that they will use something like Buzzbot, why haven't Nostr clients focused on developing better discovery mechanisms? #asknostr

Developers are not payed enough. Nobody wants to invest if they don't get nothing(money) out of it.

Buzzbot takes a 15% cut of the bounty on every note. Why couldn't developers do something similar as a way to get funding?

It was just as lame as Buzzbot. Maybe paying for interaction with your notes doesn't actually get you anything, because it's just fake engagement 🤔
