On the one hand, I agree that motor scooters (as well as other vehicles) shouldn't require a license
On the other hand, federal disability law is overbroad
Requiring licenses and permits to move around is a pretty nightmarish concept if you ask me.
I really hope the city council members that proposed this ordinance end up in a situation where they have to use mobility aids and end up dealing with the consequences of their own ordinance if it passes.
