The Jack Mallers T-shirt slander is so fiat-coded even some Bitcoiners can’t see it.
Jack doesn’t like T-shirts—cool, doesn’t matter to me. But the fact that people are questioning his leadership over personal fashion choices—despite building Strike and likely a second successful company—reveals how deeply conditioned we still are by fiat aesthetics.
In a free market, you don’t have to like someone’s vibe, wardrobe, or sense of humor. The only thing that matters is whether they deliver value.
Jack delivers:
• From Strike and his weekly pod
• To the legendary “What is Bitcoin?” speech
• To his authentic presence, his responsiveness to customers, and his refusal to play dress-up for fiat clout.
TLDR: You can be scammed by a guy in a suit. Jack’s focused on building value—not cosplaying respectability for the fiat class.
Jack got me to this side of the bridge and I’m fine looking like those cringy Saylor supporters as a payback(love Saylor obviously but Jack is more my generation). I hope to provide value even close to him one day.
