I was just listening to Fox News rundown thing titled "maternity care deserts", the first thing I hear is "what do you do if you're an expecting mothers and you have to travel more than half an hour to see an obstetrician?" and under the risk of being called insensitive or whatever.... What the fuck is this even about?! Weren't women giving birth before the advent of modern medicine and even after that... Like, wtf is this even about? My grandmother delivered 8 children at home FFS
