So far I really like what is being done to expose corruption and waste and to cut government bureaucracy, but I still worry that Elon is being given too much power and leeway. I don't totally trust his motives and I definitely don't trust a precedent being set that could let some less honest people have access to the same information.

Accessing private, personal information on a weekend when nobody is watching could allow Elon to access a lot of personal information that he could use in his planned everything X app. As long as he keeps cutting the obvious waste, nobody is watching what other stuff he might or might not be getting into. (Not saying he is doing anything wrong, but I'd like someone keeping an eye on him in case.) Trust but verify.
