I’m having trouble following the argument. Is Andreesen correct or incorrect that technology has raised human living standards? I’m reading:
1. No. Nominal wages may be up, but that’s just inflation.
2. Yes, but this time is different.
I think he’s incorrect in his assessment that AI will lower prices and create an abundance of jobs for reasons I stated.

You think AI won’t lower nominal prices, or won’t lower real prices?
It has the potential to lower both but we as plebs will not see those benefits because the value will accrue at the top and not necessary translate into lowering costs for consumers.
