I mean, glass is probably the best thing you can use for storage of dried stuff, but if you really really don't want to use it, maybe some metal instead. I used to keep lose tobacco in a tin case back in the day and it was good but it'd dry pretty quick (was living in a very dry place). If you want to go that route then tin, aluminium, stainless steel and titanium are your best options (in that order to reduce costs). It'd need to be sterile and airlocked, which is why glass jars are the best option in the first place.
