Back to the seed of this thread, you asked the community for resources or options to set up a pension type account. Were you thinking there would be free options?
I dont use unchained as im not state side but 250 seems reasonable for an assisted multi sig in a special account type. Nunchuk assisted is 125 without special account type.
Free, no but fees around 0.1% was more what I was thinking. Unchained also charges 1% on top of that $250.
I don't think nunchuk does tax advantaged accounts based on their website
That they charge 900 setup at 250/yr isnt that out there imo. Tax advantaged accounts have unique requirements to make sure you dont take constructive receipt and there a distribution. A multi sig true bitcoin ira is a great value prop and custodial fees are to be expected.
But 1% ontop doesnt make sense imo. This is akin to an advisory fee and shouldnt apply here. Mighty fiat of them to transport the layers of fees from fiat to bitcoin.
Also, unchaineds assisted setup is 250/year after $900 setup fee.
