I just read a passage in Matthew 13:57, which made me very reflective and brought me a lot of clarity. The things that our environment makes us realize had already been described in the scriptures for decades, centuries. And this has made me read even more, realizing how much the truths are at our disposal and we just need to read.

Says the word of Jesus: “A prophet is respected by the whole world, except in his land and in his house.” This means that people have resistance to realize who you really are. If you open a business, they don’t have faith in your capacity and don’t buy from you. If you say you’ve changed, you don’t believe it. If you say you are knowledgeable of such a skill, they discredit. If your neighbor said he created #Bitcoin it is likely that they would not believe it and many other examples on this topic.

And this is called the lack of faith, and that is why Jesus did not do his miracles in his homeland, because of the disbelief of his ability, given his humble condition since childhood. Sometimes we judge others by their condition and forget to perceive and validate what they can contemplate us.
