Americans think that they can just turn in their firearms when the mandatory gun confiscation starts and then sue to get them back, but what if the guns will be destroyed and the gun ban will be permanent?

Lol I've never heard this take. Who thonks this? All the gun owners I know pull the "over my dead body" claim in the case of government gu seizure.
Most of them would just give them up voluntarily in the end. But I never hear people talk about suing the go to get them back
