Now that I understand Mutiny wallet and how it works (self-custody, lightning channel), I think it's pretty cool

Just that to open a lightning channel, you need to receive 100,000 sats

Also, to get a lightning address, you need to spend 16,000 sats a month to get Mutiny+

Then what's the point if you can't use it with Nostr and it doesn't have a lightning address

Then you'll always need to send and pay LN invoices

Haven’t looked into Mutiny in particular that much myself. What are your thoughts on all the third parties it connects to when you use it?

Doesn't matter because your self-custody wallet is connected to their lightning node and their node then connects to the network through lightning channels. So, your wallet is perfectly safe
