i'm working on making it possible to link up a swarm of relays via one or many kinds of distributed database back end that functions as a polling broadcast network with relays acting as caches
some will sneer at it because it's currently built to target the Internet Computer Protocol but all of the shitcoins could serve in this way and this would also promote their adoption as well
as i see it, nostr is a protocol that evades centralisation and no matter how centralised any one of its parts are, is irrelevant because the bigger map of the network is always going to be highly redundant, parallel, and permeable
Relays software can get some optimisations, so do the clients.
I'm also working on enabling companies with existing infrastructure to easily spin relays and other nostr components.
