This was a pretty normal worldview just in the 1970s.
A lot has changed in 50 years with rise of feminism, the morning after pill, women entering the workforce etc.

Sounds like maybe a yes from you then?
The modern world has made it difficult to stick to such views. You kind of have to evolve to your environment.
Phew bc that is straight up ridiculous
Yet people will just cling onto The Book™️ anyway and overall call it Truth despite having to change their personal interpretation of it. Billions of different personal interpretations mind you, some keeping up with the times better than others, some just not at all. Yet still they consider themselves one group following the word of one God.
HIGHLY suspect to say the least. It honestly resembles shitcoining. “No bro trust me, THIS is the one that will take me from a 7-11 clerk to a penthouse in the sky.” At least they have the luxury of placing multiple bets simultaneously. I can’t even imagine the pressure when an eternity of either immaculate glory or unfathomable conflagration is on the line.
Sorry not trying to be a dick, hard as that may be to believe 🫠 just my perspective
I don’t know people are free to believe what they believe.
We live in a fallen world where men think they can chop their dick off to become women and women to chop their tits off to become a man.
All I can say is I can’t recommend reading the bible enough. The stories contain a lot of wisdom and truth on how to be best version of yourself.
I was atheist for 21 years til I decided to read the bible out of curiosity. A lot of perspectives about the world, life and morality changed for the better.
Christians come in various forms. Some think preaching in people’s faces is a way to win people over. In my view that’s not an ineffective approach.
My approach is more just to try be good person. Actions speak louder than words. If anybody asks me about it, I just say I read the bible. I don’t see any reason to persuade anyone of my beliefs about the world.
We all on our own journey through this miracle called life.
