Is this just mushies water & salt?

Also a bay leaf, a sprig of thyme & garlic.

It’s meant to be eaten with salads, charcuterie. Probably would be good with anything sauerkraut would pair with.

Apparently the Slavs like to eat these straight with a bottle of vodka

I’ll let you know in a week or two how they are

I bet they will have good firm texture. But you can verify for us!

The polypore seemed firm, not sure how the chanterelles will turn out. They felt a lil mushy
