So the older gentlemen from my local meetup that I built a seed signer for now wants me to build him a node.

Half of me says he should learn some of this himself. But on the other hand he seems contenent to pay me for the work. I know I shouldn't feel conflicted taking payment for this work because he says he values the skillset but for some reason I still am.

Am I selling myself short? This is the kind of work I love and, helping non-technical Bitcoiners run nodes is important in my book and for me building a node is a load of fun. So why in the back of my mind do I feel like Im "doing something wrong" by taking this dudes money even if so far all ive done is charge him cost for parts (in the case of the seed signer).

NGL my next therapy session is going to be interesting. 😅

you're not doing anything wrong, imo. you're a service provider. people need services. 8 billion people are not going to build their own nodes. ever. if this was the case, i wouldn't have built hundreds and hundreds of computers back in the day for my customers.

i'm pretty sure this is a severe case of just my brain being mean to me. Thank you.
