Has anyone used cloaked? It’s an interesting service that gives you access to countless phone numbers. You can generate a new phone number to sign up for a service instead of giving your personal number. If that service leaks your number, you can kill it and replace it with another. You can also generate a new number to give people instead of your personal one. It’s kinda like email aliases with simple login but for phone numbers. Seems like a great idea to use on dating apps or with job applications. I want to sign up with them but they’re closed source. Idk if it really matters though because it seems like it’s still better than giving my real number to corporations or random people. And SMS texts are unencrypted anyway so all my private communications would be done on signal. Thoughts?
