LOL. I live on a farm. Some are breeders and others are processed for meat. Also have cows and chickens. #homestead
I have 2 gilts, a sow and a boar coming this month on 27 acres, so I was just curious how many acres you need with that. My sow had 13 babies last time around so I'm hopefully I'll have ~30 babies this time around and be able to sell one of the gilts to replace with one from this round
We use less than 2 acres for all the pigs, but we supplement their grazing with feed. Most of our acreage is for cows.
