What's the goal? I mean we had a Bitaxe hit a block about a month or so ago. So while we never expected Axes to EVER mine anything it actually happened.
Now, that could have literally been the only one we'll ever see and I think keeping that possibility in mind going forward should be important.
That said, I have two Supras. They are absolutely amazing but 100% lottery miners.
I will be buying many more, can't wait for the Hex model to be finished 🤩
Good question! Yes I saw the story of the Bitaxe finding a block. Very impressive!
For me the goal would be to actually participate in a pool to get some nice and fresh sats and be part of a good pool, for example ocean, as to participate a bit in the network as well. I was never a fan of lottery in any form anyway so I wouldn't like to have it just sitting wasting energy.
So overall I am leaning towards the Avalon even though it's closed source, since it has the highest hashrate and can act as a small heater.
Or maybe I should try and build a Bitaxe with 5-6 chips in there? That would be awesome..!
