Honestly though, he was one of the extremely early adopters and promoters of Bitcoin. Would be interesting to see if he may start directing Coinbase back to bitcoin only.
When the Bitcoin forks came, Coinbase didn't want to even have them on their exchange, but the courts forced them to.

That's definitely a possibility. The SEC sued Gemini over Shitcoins being unregistered securities. Coinbase could be next.
I was disappointed when coinbase started adding all the shittiest shitcoins. Most of their volume is from BTC and ETH anyway
I suspect Brian started off as a bitcoiner but VC funding made him ravenous for money- more more more.. then you tell yourself lies about why bitcoin is not sufficient and shitcoins are ok. Then you are obligated to go down that path to make investors happy.
