Absolutely agreed! This is a same take and exactly my position as well. If and when the risk comes closer to fruition, the #bitcoin stack will upgrade as necessary, from nodes to wallets. Once there's consensus on a way forward this whole attack vector will become moot.
We already have quantum resistant algorithms, we just need to agree and move when the time comes.
