Wasn't even sure he was real in the first place. Unless a celeb has their npub listed somewhere else like on a verified Twitter or website I'm not following them. No different than all the scammers on Twitter.
His social media team (definitely not him) posted his npub on Twiddler. Those two posts on Nostr were just a way to collect some sats for his futile campaign, that were absolutely sold for dollars the same day.

They’ll gladly accept your bitcoin and sell it for greenbacks, sure.
Their website only accepts bitcoin, Apple Pay, or credit card. What if I want to write a check or pay with spare change? Why do they hate checks and change so much. All I want to do is hold up the line at the cash register just a little longer.
I still use a checkbook, because it annoys banks. Check writing is a dying art form.
