I like to think of them more as tools that reflect decent human world values but yes it’s fitting that on US Independence Day those values are all there, written down in a single codified constitution and ignored by those supposedly upholding them. Likewise the mishmash of uncodified statutes here in the UK describe similar values but get twisted, abused and ignored. Anyway, happy Independence Day 😁🫂
I didn't see the post you're referring to. But I doubt it meant exclusionary. July 4th is holiday in US. For our independence day. And likely a reflection of our values of freedom. Not meant to diminish other countries.
