I can see that. When I was a kid, my family almost moved to Australia, and when we didn't I fantasized for years about it. Now after seeing what happened in covid, I'm not so sure I'd want to now.

The state of Victoria sucked for sure in Covid, over a year of lockdown. Other states had barely any, here in SA only 3 weeks total. I feel like Victoria's experience was overplayed as Australia's.
Even the gun thing, Australians have more guns today than before the Port Arthur Massacre gun grabbing.
I reckon you would have liked it, lots of places you can completely disappear if you wanted, in lots of environments.

I did not know that, interesting. Good to know you still have firearms. Sounds like some of your states were better off then quite a few US states as far as lockdowns and covid in general. The propaganda and misinformation is staggering.
