I'm experimenting with various ways to display Threads and I can't believe no one seems to be using an icon like this anywhere.

It combines the lines of the posts with the rolled up thread, in one supersimple icon.

Now that’s an awesome design! Props to you!
Maybe there is a simpler UI for that, and UX wise even show the first 2 posts of the thread so you can quickly scroll to see if it’s relevant, many times you can’t judge the quality by that first message.
Also think it takes a lot of vertical space and has icon on the left and right to do the same action.
Consider trying to show something like “Expand 6 more posts" simply as a link styling at the end of the last message to expand.

Would this be something you'd like?
It shows:
- the first two posts to judge if it's worth reading or not
- Only one icon to expand the thread
- the total comments, zaps and shares of the thread
- who of your selected Profile Lists commented
