Is that the goal of #Nostr? Seems most folks here don’t want the GP. I consider Nostr a whole separate experience, not a replacement for Twitter.
The goal is to have an open and decentralized protocol where the end users like you and me control our own content. Where we can’t be cancelled and censored by the few who control platforms like twitter. If we don’t like a platform now we can leave and TAKE all of our followers and content with us.

True, the timing of Elon's bid was terrible in hindsight. At the time #nostr was largely unproven.
