Jailbreaking iPhones is a thing of the past, very rare these days and patched within days when they do make it into the wild.

It's been years, they were so quick to invalidate the old version that were cracked I can only imagine nowadays.

Hundreds of thousands usd$ offered by Apple for a zero day thwarts many from public release jailbreaks. Governments also paying for them. Even with the best of intentions by white-hats, the incentive to release when most have auto-update on is a waste but for a small minority that would jailbreak anyway. It’s a dead/dying industry unfortunately.

Very good points here I'd not considered.
