In the last 30 days on #Nostr, I've posted almost the exact same content as I have on X, and gained 1,400 new followers (avg. ~47 new per day)
On X during the same 30-day period, I've remained almost completely flat, gaining <100 (avg. ~3 new per day)
I get more engagement here too, despite only having 2.5K followers vs. 15.6K there.
It's pretty cool when your content is actually SEEN by all of your followers—giving them the opportunity to engage with & repost your content so new people can find you—and not be 24/7 throttled by a mystery algorithm!
Centralized platforms are already dead, most of the world just hasn't realized it yet.
