Take 10% of whatever you make/earn and set it aside. You won't miss it.
Save more if you can.

Timeless advice!
I re-read this book once a year. The mistake that I was making was to budget my money and if there was any left over it went to savings. Now my first entry is into savings and then budget with what is left. Such a simple concept that most don't understand.
Exactly. If you try to save what's left over, nothing will be left over. But if you save first and spend what's left over, you'll be forced into a budget.
