Here’s yet another bad self-custody idea for your bitcoin: cloud storage.

Don’t put your private key in Google Drive, Dropbox, or any other such service. Even if it’s encrypted, it isn’t secure.

Not only that, but it’s bad for privacy: store a wallet.dat file in Google Drive and Google will have information about what you’re into (and might leak it).

Store an encrypted text file and the metadata might still compromise your setup.

Cloud storage didn’t work for the Bitfinex hacker, why do you think it’s gonna be different in your case?
