Which is why I'm currently exploring the Bible, on the road less traveled. My entire life I've been indoctrinated that religion is for retards. Well, much of it is quite positive, and in a world full of evil, debauchery, and sin, I'm enjoying the journey.
I'm also a couple chapters into Thank God for Bitcoin, and enjoying that as well. Not an endorsement, just sharing. Hoping the entire book is a solid read.
And in the end, we're all a little retarded.
šÆ For me, Bitcoin complemented my Christian faith.
That is great to here... it does seem that Christianity is based on a high time preference mentality, helping believers forego the lure of instant gratification (sex, sin, etc.) and focus on future wins (stronger marriage, healthier bodies, eventual heaven, etc.)
Anyway, thnx for sharing. I have a close Christian friend that I'm planning to fwd "Thank God for Bitcoin" if it proves to be solid read.

Which is why I enjoy conversing with my weekly JW visitors. Have you studied stoicism yet? Could be good to sprinkle in a little Marcus from time to time š¤
I have a good friend who is doing a deeper dive into stoicism. I know nothing about it, but will add it to the list... always seeking truth, self improvevent, and hopefully helping to make the world a better place. Peace to you.
Love your mindset, it shares many parallels and also aligns with those who value hard money. I think youāll enjoy it as itās another tool to have in the toolbox. āHow to live like a Roman emperorā by Donald Robertson is a great resource to start and is my go to in times of need.

Excellent, thank you for the fwd! Will check it out.
