Opinion: The moment you're app suggests "npubs to follow" to new users you're manipulating the wot and organic growth / discovery.

What if it's based on input from my web of trust? Sort of like the podroll tag in Podcasting 2.0, what if I can list npubs I recommend to my followers? From my perspective that builds directly and organically on web of trust while still aiding discovery.

exactly. That's the point. So my "recommended follows" npubs would come from my web of trust, and your "recommended follows" npubs would come from yours.
