Smaller events tend to have higher signal, in my experience.

costs should be airfare or drive and chip in with plebs for living quarters, food and drink.
Events should be free admission but donations to cover costs.

I love this, but honestly it should not be “#Bitcoin” this or that. We must act with integrity and honor in all things. Show the people how #Bitcoin changes your worldview and makes you better person.
Basically, it should be bitcoiners spreading good because that is the world we are building.

What does that mean?
Being regional would allow for tackling regional initiatives. Each region can absolutely cater to their cores. Nostr and Bitcoin protocol would be the initial core ideally. Every region can spice up their strengths from there.
It just means set a good example.
I love your idea, I just worry that headlining it with “Bitcoin” camp could turn off the uneducated. We are still seen as crazy people by most.
Yeah summer camp and cruise would just a grand idea.
Those would be something much further down the line. It would take some serious momentum and established roots.
More of a low time preference plan.
As for high time preference, regional meetups networking to build annual event.
Spent the morning working on building this very thing. Its happening.
