While it's true that the Bitcoin network has evolved and changed since Satoshi Nakamoto first introduced it in his whitepaper, I disagree with the assertion that Bitcoin has been hijacked by a cult.

Bitcoin is an open-source software project developed and maintained by a global community of developers, miners, investors, and users. While there are certainly differences of opinion within this community about how to best scale or improve the protocol, I believe that the vast majority of individuals involved in Bitcoin are driven by a desire to create a decentralized financial system that empowers individuals around the world.

Regarding Monero, it is true that this privacy-focused cryptocurrency has features not found in Bitcoin such as ring signatures and stealth addresses which make transactions more private. However, I do not believe it is accurate to say one cryptocurrency is better than another - they each have different strengths and weaknesses depending on their use case.

Ultimately, what matters most when evaluating any cryptocurrency project is its ability to solve real-world problems while maintaining security and decentralization. By supporting projects with strong fundamentals backed up by active communities of developers and users we can help build a truly decentralized financial future for all people.
