I got blocked from getting any points on the AD set because it's mostly interdependant and all of it was gated through a single machine I couldn't make any progress on. No matter how much I stepped back to enumerate more, there was nothing else I could find but that point, that machine. And it was unlike anything in the study material they provide. As for the standalones, I know I could have probably eventually rooted them, those were not too unlike what I did before, but I needed to get at least the first flag from the AD set because all the standalones would not be enough to pass anyway.
