I've been using Kiwi (a Chrome based web browser for Android that supports extensions) with the nos2x extension as my "dedicated Android client" with Astral and I'll say that it runs much better than in native Chrome. Check it out if you're an Android user waiting on a real native client.

Thanks for the heads up! I'm  really looking forward to an Android native client.

You're welcome. I've tested both of them that are on the works and they aren't even close yet to something you could use on the daily. They're missing a lot of features and clearly in the beginning phases of development. Hopefully we get something usable soon-ish!

I know of Nosky. What's the other client in the works? Is #[1] porting #damus to Android?

Nostros, but the features aren't really built like Damus

Never used Damus, but both Android clients seem fine, design wise, to me. Have you see the Nostros feature roadmap?

I loaded Damus up on #[3]'s iPad and it's pretty slick. I'd use it if I was an iOS user.
