If we call China, "Communist China" and the old Russia, "Communist Russia"

Why can't we call California and New York, "Communist California" and "Communist New York" ?

They're not officially "Peoples Republics".

As dysfunctional as CA is, it's just a matter of time before the state breaks down.

Unless those Bitcoin companies based there retain their wealth while everyone else loses it and then take over the state.

Maybe that's why they stay there.
