I really tried to like football as a kid, I knew it would have made my dad happy so I pretended sometimes. Honestly, I'd rather remove popcorn ceiling from every room in the house than sit and watch grown men play with a ball. #superbowl #plebchain

But what if they’re paid the collective GDP of a small country to do so? Is it interesting then? 😂

I feel you. I watch it and do enjoy it but it’s quickly (as with other sports) losing its luster. It’s become much more of an obvious entertainment business and I don’t enjoy that part. Give me soccer matches on mute every day haha

Don't get me wrong, I love the business model, and the fact that they get paid that much for bringing entertainment doesn't bother me at all. They are filling a need that the majority of people are willing to pay for. Unfortunately or fortunately, I am not compelled at all by the sales pitch or the marketing attempts 😅

Hahaha. I respect it 😂

I feel bad for my husband. He loves sports. I used to really like sports, especially college football, but as I got other things in life, ie. business, kids, more involved in church, sports just moved so far down the priority list that I have zero desire to watch it. It just seems like a total waste of time. Also, when you aren't following the teams, players, and coaches, it is less interesting.
