On the dashboard it defaults to "Good" so that its simpler for people to get going.

"Good" endpoint is "live2" which doesn't have recording

"Best" endpoint is "live" which saves a recording

So zap.stream doesn’t care if I have settings configured to use “good”, but I have my streaming software set to the URL to use “best”?

Yea it's not configuring anything on the site, only using the correct server url will change it
