It in it for the Nostr aspect. The real winner is going to be the world. I’m one of those nutters who thinks the potential for nostr to surpass that of Bitcoin. What good is a freedom money if we can’t communicate freely?

If we can use key pairs to prove ownership, we can use them to prove identity. If we can prove identity, we can use it to vote. You will be able to change your vote, right up to the moment the polls close and the results will be known instantly, with 100% verifiability.

If we can restore confidence in the free and fair election process, everyone wins. If you can vote with your phone, there’s no excuse for not voting.

It’s not the result that matters so much as, everyone’s vote counting. People will much more easily accept the results as long as they know their vote was counted.
