The financial action task force is now working on creating anti money laundering standards for "unhosted wallets". Basically a piece of paper or an app.
Discussion
This is a slippery slope. How many “un-hosted wallets” could a cypherpunk create?
I have a simple JavaScript that generates 2500 bitcoin addresses a minute. Uses one CPU core. Thing is, fatf speaks of "unhosted wallets" as if they are completely controllable . I dont think they understand. To them an unhosted wallet is a ledger/trezor.
