I'm using amethyst now, so far it's been very stable. Apparently it's on the play store so you don't have to build it manually using the instructions on GitHub.

Yep, love the client so far. Also, the .APK is available on GitHub as well https://github.com/vitorpamplona/amethyst/releases

Would have saved me a lot of effort if I'd known this, I ended up setting up Android studio to build the app myself! Was a good learning experience though.
