We need a culture shift away from "people should have consistent opinions", and " you are hypocritical because you wrote the opposite 5 years ago".

There's a saying in French, only idiots never change their mind.

Normal, meatspace interactions allow for forgiveness and change by the sheer fact that I dont remember every conversations, while cyberspace, last year is one click away. I think that's what put people off.
