Imo meshtastic is the gateway, newbie version of P2P comms; I'd say keep it running for awhile. Easy to setup, easy to "use"

- think buying Bitcoin on an exchange

Reticulum is the path forward; far too versatile. A bit harder to flash & setup, more CLI/rough UI/UX in apps, but once its setup wow is it powerful

- buying Bitcoin at a meetup, P2P no-kyc

I appreciate the feedback. Great advice. Makes total sense. I need to spend some time in the Meshtastic realm and gain experience. Don't get me wrong. I have a very supportive meshtastic group in my area. It's been awesome learning about this.
